His clients include large corporations, private equity firms and hedge funds, estates, exempt organisations and individuals, many of whom are subject to the Internal Revenue Service’s global high wealth initiative. Mr Foster's practice covers a diverse range of tax issues, including international tax, taxation of financial products, estate and gift taxes, proposed exempt status revocations, voluntary disclosures and criminal tax. He is a former Supreme Court clerk, and is currently chair of the Tax Audits and Litigation Committee of the DC Bar.
