About Christopher A. Suarez

Christopher A. Suarez is co-head of Steptoe’s Artificial Intelligence group, and represents companies in both AI counselling and litigation. He counsels clients on AI model review and development to ensure that AI products comply with US and global privacy and intellectual property obligations, and ensures that his clients have effective AI governance policies. Chris also counsels his clients on AI licensing issues, including open source software and data licensing, and litigates intellectual property and data protection issues at every level of the US court system. Chris is the co-editor of the book Artificial Intelligence: Legal Issues, Policy, and Practical Strategies (ABA, 2024).
