Matt Hurd has over three decades of expertise in advising companies on high-value strategic combinations. He has led diverse teams of Sullivan & Cromwell lawyers on transactions that, at the time of announcement, were the largest ever all-cash takeover in the USA, the largest ever acquisition of a non-US company by a US company (terminated) and of a US company by a non-US company, various hostile takeovers, and numerous leading transactions in the life science sector, where he has particular expertise and co-ordinates S&C’s practice.
