Huy also has extensive experience advising foreign clients, including state-owned enterprises, on Canadian foreign investment law (Investment Canada Act). A recognised expert in his field, Huy serves as a non-governmental adviser to the International Competition Network. He is the chair of the Competition Law Section of the Canadian Bar Association.
