About Jennie Baek

Jennie Baek is a member of McMillan’s ESG and sustainability practice and co-leads the firm’s blockchain, cryptocurrency and digital assets group. She has a proven ability to create and leverage collaborative relationships with Indigenous nations, local communities and regulators, including to implement ESG and corporate social responsibility (CSR) performance, diligence and reporting within organistions. Jennie practises capital markets and securities law with an emphasis on the investment funds and asset management industry. She provides business-focused advice on the integration of ESG strategies in investment policies, governance structures and decision-making in connection with public and private funds, fund managers and other entities in the asset management industry. She also provides in-depth counsel on registration and regulatory compliance, corporate governance and reporting obligations.
