is Head of Procurement in Eversheds Sutherland (Ireland) and has 20 years’ experience of advising public/private sector bodies in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland on all aspects of public and utilities procurement law. Peter has advised on the procurement of numerous projects and contracts across various sectors, including technology, communications, waste, transport, social housing, construction, education and health. He counts among his clients government departments and a wide range of public bodies, as well as bidders tendering for contracts and projects in both jurisdictions. He also advises on procurement litigation and has been involved in a number of leading cases. Peter regularly speaks at procurement law conferences across Ireland, the UK and further afield, and he is an active member of the Procurement Lawyers Association. He regularly publishes in this area and is on the Editorial Board of the Public Procurement Law Review.
