About Michael Skene

Michael Skene is a partner at BLG’s Vancouver office. His degrees are from the University of Cambridge (LLM), University of Toronto (JD) and UBC (B Commerce (Hons)). Michael advises clients in a range of construction and infrastructure matters, with extensive experience in dispute-related issues. His clients include contractors, developers and sureties. Michael has successfully represented clients before various tribunals, provincial and superior courts, and in the Supreme Court of Canada. He has worked with clients to resolve some of the largest construction claims in Canada in the past two decades, including individual disputes in excess of CAD1 billion. Michael is called in British Colombia and Saskatchewan, and is licensed to practice law in Ontario.
