About Bruce Stratton

Bruce Stratton is a senior counsel in the DLA Piper Toronto office who has practised exclusively in intellectual property law since 1987. His practice has an emphasis on patent disputes, with a focus on those concerning computer-related technology. Prior to joining DLA Piper, Bruce was a name partner of one of Canada’s elite intellectual property law firms. Bruce has appeared as first chair counsel in numerous patent trials in the Federal Court and has handled appellate work in the Federal Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Canada in patent, trade mark and copyright disputes.
