About Martin Lapner

Martin Lapner is a partner in Gowling WLG’s Ottawa office, marking a significant senior level that follows his promotion to partnership in January 2016. With 17 years at the bar (called in Ontario in 2008), his practice centres on health law and privacy, emphasising professional regulatory and civil liability matters, data governance, medical defence, and AI regulation. He teaches IT & privacy in healthcare at Osgoode Hall Law School’s LLM program.
