About Eileen McMahon

Eileen McMahon practises exclusively in the areas of intellectual property and food and drug regulatory laws. She is one of the few Canadian lawyers who advises on regulation clearance and intellectual property protection of product. Eileen is Chair of the Regulatory and IP Practices and has over twenty-five years’ experience in IP and food and drug regulatory law. Eileen has worked with a range of clients on day-to-day commercial matters in the life sciences sector, including advertising and promotion campaigns, product launches, pricing issues and privacy matters. Eileen also advises on strategic matters in the life sciences sector, including data exclusivity, patent exclusivity and patent register listings, licensing and other commercial agreements. Eileen is a member of Torys’ Executive Committee. Eileen is also a registered patent agent in the United States and Canada.
