About E. Scott Swainson

E. Scott Swainson is a director and senior counsel at Wakefield Quin Limited. Scott regularly advises on sophisticated commercial and residential property transactions and provides property-related advice to banks and other commercial lenders, hotel and condominium developers and investors. Scott joined Wakefield Quin Limited in 2018 and was formerly a partner and group head of property at Appleby (based in Bermuda). Scott is internationally recognised as one of Bermuda’s leading property lawyers and has approximately 30 years of post-qualification experience. Scott graduated from Queen’s University, Canada with Bachelor of Arts in History and earned a Bachelor of Laws at University of Kent, England.
