About E Scott Swainson

E Scott Swainson is a director and departmental head of property at Wakefield Quin Limited. He regularly advises on sophisticated commercial and residential property transactions, and provides property-related advice to banks and other commercial lenders, hotel and condominium developers and investors. Scott joined Wakefield Quin Limited in 2018, having previously been a partner and group head of property at Appleby (based in Bermuda). He is internationally recognised as one of Bermuda’s leading property lawyers and has approximately 30 years of post-qualification experience. Scott graduated from Queen’s University, Canada with a Bachelor of Arts in History and earned a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Kent, England.
