About Scott Swainson

Scott Swainson is a Director and Senior Counsel. Scott regularly advises on sophisticated commercial and residential property transactions and provides property-related advice to banks and other commercial lenders, hotel and condominium developers and investors. Scott joined Wakefield Quin in 2018 and was formerly a Partner and Group Head of Property at Appleby (based in Bermuda). Scott is internationally recognised as one of Bermuda’s leading property lawyers and has approximately 30 years of post-qualification experience. Scott graduated from Queen’s University, Canada with Bachelor of Arts in History and earned a Bachelor of Laws at University of Kent, England.
