About Bill Shaughnessy

Bill Shaughnessy is a partner on Jones Walker LLP’s Construction Industry Team. His practice focuses exclusively on helping clients avoid and resolve complex construction disputes. Bill’s experience includes renewable energy (solar and wind) projects, infrastructure, data centres, stadiums, manufacturing plants and hospitals. Bill has extensive litigation experience serving as trial counsel in several larger construction disputes in arbitration and court. Bill also works with clients during projects to evaluate claims and represents clients in mediation, structured settlement, or dispute resolution board hearings. Bill contributes annually to the Construction Law Update, is an active board member of the Atlanta Bar Construction Section, and publishes articles regularly for the Associated General Contractors.
