About Nicolas Bonora

Nicolas Bonora is a partner at AKD and a key member of the firm’s banking and finance team. He specialises in leveraged finance, acquisition finance, real estate finance and fund finance. Nicolas advises a diverse range of international and domestic clients, including banks, asset managers, private equity sponsors, alternative credit providers, debt funds and both public and private companies on various cross-border and domestic financing transactions. With over 15 years of experience in Luxembourg finance matters, Nicolas serves as Luxembourg counsel on both the borrower and lender sides of syndicated and bilateral credit facilities. He also advises on fund financing facilities, including subscription/capital call facilities and NAV facilities. In addition, he regularly advises on high-yield notes issuances, debt restructurings, distressed financings and security enforcement.
