Atle J. Skaldebø-Rød
works mainly with litigation/arbitration, including interim measures, and alternative dispute resolution. Skaldebø-Rød is an experienced all-round litigator. He is involved in several major disputes connected with the bankruptcies of oil rig companies in the aftermath of the 2008 financial crisis, disputes concerning BOD liability, as well as acting in P&I coverage disputes and direct actions and various offshore and contractual disputes. He is a partner in BA-HR’s finance department and head of the firm’s dispute resolution practice group. Skaldebø-Rød has co-authored work on litigation and arbitration as well as anti-bribery and corruption. He has previously worked for two years as a law clerk with the Norwegian Supreme Court and subsequently more than eight years as a lawyer at the Office of the Attorney General (Civil Affairs). Skaldebø-Rød was admitted to the Norwegian Supreme Court in 2008.
