About Tonje Hagen Geiran

Tonje Hagen Geiran is a leading Norwegian climate and environmental law specialist with experience from both government and industry. She spent many years in the Ministry of Climate and Environment in senior advisory and leadership roles, developing legislation and policy across climate regulation, pollution control, circular economy, waste and nature protection. She also has hands-on sustainability experience from an international industrial group, where she led ESG initiatives and contributed to the Brevik carbon capture project (Langskip). At Wikborg Rein, Tonje is a key member of the ESG and environmental law team, advising on complex regulatory compliance, permitting and sustainability strategy across all environmental and climate domains.
