About Danie Dohmen

Danie Dohmen is a partner at Adams & Adams and specialises in patent, design, plant breeder’s rights and IP agreement litigation and commercialisation. Danie has, for a number of consecutive years, been ranked in tier 1 for patent litigation in South Africa. He works in a diversity of fields, including pharmaceutical, agriculture and mining. Many of Danie’s matters are considered leading patent law cases on issues such as inventiveness, clarity, interim interdicts, contributory infringement, the role of public interest in interim interdicts on patents for life saving drugs, evidentiary requirements to prove infringement and requirements for divisional applications.
