About Danie Dohmen

Danie Dohmen has been a partner at Adams & Adams since 2007 and is the chairperson of the patents department. He specialises in patent, design, PBR and IP transaction litigation, and opinion work. Consistently highly ranked in Intellectual Property: Patents by Chambers, Danie holds a BSc in physics and chemistry and an LLB. He is a past president of the Licensing Executives Society of South Africa and a fellow of the South African Institute of Intellectual Property Law. He represents clients across various sectors, litigates in multiple African jurisdictions, and contributes to IP policy on national and international levels.
