About April McClements

April McClements is a partner in the insurance and dispute resolution team at Matheson LLP and a commercial litigator who specialises in insurance disputes. She advises on the full spectrum of insurance disputes, including complex coverage disputes (in particular, those relating to financial lines policies), policy-wording interpretation, D&O claims, and professional indemnity claims (eg, potential third-party liability, cyber and emerging risks, and subrogation claims). April manages large-scale complex commercial disputes such as high-profile Commercial Court litigation and arbitrations. In addition, she manages the professional indemnity claims of clients – ranging from insurance brokers to architects and engineers – for a variety of insurers.
