About James Fitzgerald

James Fitzgerald is of counsel in the Financial Services Regulation and FinTech practices at McCann FitzGerald. He advises a variety of clients, including payment and electronic money institutions, retail credit, investment and credit servicing firms, banks and other financial services firms, on a diverse range of financial service regulatory matters including consumer finance, regulatory investigations, enforcement actions and regulatory compliance issues. James also assists clients in obtaining various regulatory authorisations. In addition, James advises clients on dealing with queries and complaints from customers, as well as engagement with external bodies such as the Central Bank of Ireland and the Financial Services and Pensions Ombudsman.
