About Denise Daly Byrne

Denise Daly Byrne is a senior associate in A&L Goodbody LLP’s disputes and investigations group, with a specialist practice in betting and gaming law. Denise has advised a variety of gambling operators on all aspects of their business, including licensing, regulatory obligations, advertising and promotional activities, and contentious customer complaints. Denise also advises clients on the forthcoming regulatory reforms, which will see the gambling sector become subject to a more rigorous licensing and regulatory regime. Additionally, Denise advises a broad range of clients on regulatory and contentious matters, in particular those with a consumer-facing element. Denise also has extensive client-side experience via secondments in Stripe and Ulster Bank, and from working in-house as international legal counsel with the database software company MongoDB.
