About Katie O’Connor

Katie O’Connor is a partner in A&L Goodbody LLP’s gaming and betting group, with significant experience in advising clients in the gaming and betting sector, including bookmakers, betting exchanges, land-based casinos, gaming software suppliers, internet gaming and betting operators, and trade associations. Katie advises clients in the gaming and betting sector – particularly in relation to establishing land-based casino clubs, online gaming/betting operations and support services in Ireland, and on the application of the Betting Acts, the Gaming and Lotteries Acts, and compliance with relevant Irish laws. Katie is a member of the International Masters of Gaming Law (IMGL) and has written extensively on gaming and betting issues for Irish and international media. Katie has also spoken at a number of conferences on the legislative reform of Ireland’s gaming and betting laws.
