About Fergus Doorly

Fergus Doorly is a partner at William Fry and head of the firm’s restructuring and insolvency group. Fergus has been practising for 20+ years and has expertise in advising examiners, liquidators and receivers, as well as creditors, directors and shareholders of insolvent companies. Fergus is a lecturer on the Law Society of Ireland’s training programme for solicitors. He is a current member of Restructuring and Insolvency Ireland. He is a solicitor on the Insolvency Committee of the Consultative Committee of Accountancy Bodies – Ireland. Fergus also acted as co-chair of the British and Irish Commercial Bar Association for the 2022/2023 session.
