About Dzhamil Oda

Dzhamil Oda is a managing associate at Morais Leitão, and a member of the European law and competition and sports and entertainment teams. Dzhamil actively intervenes in merger control, state aid and competition-related litigation. He also represents clients before European institutions and regularly advises the energy sector. Concerning sports law, he focuses on regulatory and litigation matters before international sports organisations (FIFA, the AFC) and the Court of Arbitration for Sports. Dzhamil is a member of the justice council of the Portuguese Bridge Federation. Within Team Genesis, Dzhamil is responsible for public subsidies and incentives. Previously, he worked with the firm’s litigation and arbitration, corporate and M&A and capital markets teams.
