joined the firm in 1998. She is part of the employment and pensions team, and advises in all areas of labour and social security law, in relation to both individual and collective employment relationships. Acting on behalf of domestic and foreign clients, she participates in restructuring processes and conducts proceedings for terminating employment contracts. Joana is also involved in implementing fringe benefit plans and revising collective bargaining agreements. She acts as legal counsel on labour and social security litigation. She has taught postgraduate courses in employment law and is the author of several articles on matters of employment law as well as the co-author of several books.
