About Carlos Filipe Couto

Carlos Filipe Couto joined VdA in 2011 and is a managing associate in the banking and finance practice, where he has been involved in a number of key transactions, particularly with regard to securities issues in the banking and insurance sectors. He advises asset managers on regulatory and legal issues, including the establishment of collective investment schemes, and offers ongoing counsel to the respective fund managers, assisting them with the sale and purchase of assets under management and respective shares. In addition to advising common representatives and trustees, he is involved in regulatory and contractual matters relating to banking entities, aviation finance and cross-border factoring.
