About Helena Correia Mendonça

Helena Correia Mendonça is the principal consultant in the information, communication and technology practice at VdA. She has extensive experience in fintech matters, advising on mobile payments, payment services and e-money, and has been involved in setting up payment providers and analysing legal issues relating to virtual currency. Helena also has extensive experience in aviation, space and defence, ICT, software licensing, outsourcing, IP protection, know-how and trade secrets, cloud computing and video games. She further advises on copyright and neighbouring rights in several sectors, and on the implementation of e-commerce platforms and websites. Helena also works on mobility, especially autonomous and driverless vehicles and urban air mobility, and has additional experience in animal law.
