About Soraia Ussene

Soraia Ussene has been a senior associate in the banking and finance practice at VdA since 2015. She advises banks and financial institutions on regulatory and transactional matters, with a focus on structured finance, syndicated loans and debt capital markets. She leads complex securitisations (structuring, negotiation, drafting and authority liaison), provides ongoing advice to securitisation vehicles, and has extensive real estate finance experience. Recognised as one of the most active lawyers in major market deals, she handles public offerings, private placements, covered bonds, and retail bond issuances across sectors, and participates in M&A and corporate finance, notably acquisition finance.
