About Pedro Cassiano Santos

Pedro Cassiano Santos joined VdA in 1989 after completing post-graduate studies at the College of Europe in Brugges, Belgium, in addition to obtaining a Law degree from Faculdade de Direito de Lisboa, Portugal. He is currently the partner leading the banking and finance practice at VdA, overseeing its financial sector clients and transactions. He provides legal advice on banking, capital markets, syndicated financing and the issuance of debt, hybrid and capital instruments. Pedro is also involved in securitisation and asset-backed operations, as well as structured financing. He frequently speaks at conferences and seminars and is a guest lecturer in postgraduate courses. Pedro is recognised by the Portuguese Bar Association as a specialist in financial law.
