About Pedro Simões Coelho

Pedro Simões Coelho joined VdA in 1998 and is head of the investment funds practice and a partner in the banking and finance practice. Pedro is also responsible for the firm’s agency and trust practice and is a member of the aviation finance team. Aside from advising, structuring, and setting up collective investment schemes such as mutual funds and real estate investment funds, infrastructure vehicles, venture capital funds and private equity structures, he is actively involved in transactions in Portugal and abroad. Pedro’s experience includes non-performing loans, asset finance, capital markets, retail banking, financial services, and securities. He also advises investors and investment firms on regulatory issues.
