About Anders Leissner

Anders Leissner worked as a claims manager and subsequently General Counsel for an international P&I club for more than 20 years before joining Vinge, which has given him broad and practical experience of shipping and international claims handling, including risk management as well as governance and compliance issues. Anders has particular experience in relation to sanctions and has been appointed as a court expert in English High Court proceedings. Anders also acts as arbitrator in shipping disputes. Between 2021 and 2023, Anders was Chairman of the Swedish War Risk Insurance Board following an appointment by the Swedish government.
