About Louis Frédéric Muskens

Louis Frédéric Muskens specialises in criminal law at Bär & Karrer with a focus on white-collar crime and administrative criminal law. He represents individuals and corporations in criminal proceedings before all Swiss authorities. Louis’ practice also covers commercial litigation and arbitration. He is a lecturer in criminal law at the University of Fribourg. He authored a PhD thesis on the status of legal persons in criminal law (for which he received the Peter-Jäggi and the Gottlob Awards) and regularly publishes and gives presentations in his main practice areas. In 2016, Louis was awarded the Oral Advocacy Prize of the Geneva Bar Association (Concours Michel Nançoz).
