About Markus Schott

Markus Schott is a partner at at Bär & Karrer who has broad experience in regulatory and commercial law matters in all fields of life science, including pharmaceuticals, medical devices, food, cosmetics, laboratories and hospitals. Markus is also specialised in representing clients in administrative litigation and frequently acts for clients in complex cases requiring in-depth industry experience and complete knowledge about the case law and practice of the authorities. Markus teaches public economic law and administrative procedural law at the University of Zurich and publishes regularly on controversial life science topics. Among his publications are key parts of the standard commentary on Swiss pharmaceutical law as well as a textbook on pharmaceutical law.
