About Simon Henseler

Simon Henseler is a senior associate in the technology, IP and competition team at Walder Wyss. He advises on data protection, IT and technology law, with expertise in cloud projects, data security incidents and compliance under Swiss and EU law. Simon also acts as an external data protection officer and regularly publishes in his field, including contributions to commentaries on the Swiss Data Protection Act. He studied in Fribourg and Copenhagen, was admitted to the Swiss Bar in 2018, and holds a Doctorate in Swiss and European Data Protection Law from the University of Zurich. He is certified as a CIPP/E.
