About Amala Atieh

Amala Atieh is a senior counsel in Taylor Wessing’s IPRD team in the UAE. She focuses on antitrust and regulatory advisory, including the competition aspects of commercial and IP-driven transactions across the Middle East, and handles complex multi-jurisdictional competition matters. She advises international and local clients on compliance with UAE competition law, including restrictive agreements, abuse of dominant position, retail pricing frameworks and competitor interaction guidelines. Amala also advises on IP transactions, including licensing, franchising and technology transfer. She is a bilingual Arabic/English practitioner.
