is a private equity/M&A partner in Gleiss Lutz’ Frankfurt office. He heads the firm's corporate/M&A practice and co-heads the private equity practice. Christian advises national and international companies in large-volume, complex M&A transactions. He is particularly renowned for his experience in public takeovers, private equity and cross-border transactions. Christian was the lead counsel of (mostly) bidders, targets and banks on more than 60 planned or executed takeovers in the last 15 years, including some of the largest M&A transactions in Germany. Recently, he advised Atlantia on the EUR32 billion Abertis/ACS/Hochtief transaction, one of the largest European M&A deals in 2018.
