About Sebastian Steinbarth

Sebastian Steinbarth is a competition law partner and head of Redeker’s Brussels office. He advises clients on EU and German competition matters, including merger control, cartel damages litigation, distribution issues and compliance. Sebastian, who is an experienced litigator in complex competition cases, has substantial experience with cartel, abuse and merger control proceedings before authorities and courts in Germany and on the EU level. He also focuses on advising clients along the retail chain on topics such as price communication, selective distribution and online sales. Sebastian is a competition law lecturer at Freiburg University and publishes regularly on EU/German competition matters.
