About António Andrade

António Andrade has been a partner at Abreu Advogados since 2019, mainly working in all matters related to IP – particularly in court and arbitration litigation regarding patents, trade marks, designs, copyright and trade secrets. He has also advised several companies on IP enforcement strategies and on defending the validity of those rights. António is a member of several national and international IP organisations, having been the president of the European Communities Trademark Association (ECTA)’s design committee (2010–16). He is currently a member of ECTA’s patent committee, the UNION-IP Litigation Commission and the ICC Portugal Commission on Intellectual Property.
