About Alexandre Miguel Mestre

Alexandre Miguel Mestre is an of counsel at Abreu Advogados, working primarily in the areas of European Union law, competition law and sports law, in Portugal and internationally. He focuses particularly on issuing opinions in the areas of litigation and pre-litigation in European law with particular emphasis on matters related to competition and sports law, and intervenes before regulatory authorities such as the Portuguese Institute of Youth and Sports (IPDJ) and competent courts such as the CJEU and CAS. Alexandre Miguel Mestre is an independent member of the UEFA Governance and Compliance Committee.
