Inês Sequeira Mendes
has been a partner with Abreu Advogados since 2012, and is co-head of the EU & Competition practice area and the Timor-Leste Desk. She advises clients on all areas of competition law, particularly regarding merger control and anti-competitive practices, and especially delivering guidance on healthcare, energy, retail, media and private equity, venture capital, tourism, and professional services (transportation, distribution and tobacco). Inês has played a lead role in many of Abreu Advogados’ major projects and M&A assignments in Portugal and abroad, including Timor, and has also authored a number of articles in industry publications and lectured in several competition law-related conferences.
