About Jorge Morais

Jorge Morais is an of counsel at Abreu Advogados and co-head of the insurance team, working primarily on matters related to finance and banking. He focuses particularly on aspects related to regulation and stock market law. As a legal director of important international banking groups, and then as a lawyer, Jorge has led highly complex proceedings – specifically, the reorganisation of banking groups that issue securities so they can be admitted to trading, organising and monitoring public offerings in regulated markets. He has also advised on the organisation and structuring involved in issuing financial instruments (especially shares, bonds, commercial papers and structured products) by private or public subscription.
