About Diogo Perestrelo

Diogo Perestrelo is a partner and co-head of the corporate M&A practice at PLMJ. With 32 years’ experience, he is one of the most distinguished corporate and M&A lawyers in Portugal, with vast experience in mergers and acquisitions, private equity and projects in sectors such as transport, infrastructure, aviation, energy, distribution and tourism. Diogo has also advised on privatisations, and represents clients in the areas of road concessions, renewable energy and telecoms. He has a law degree from the Faculty of Law of Universidade Católica, and is admitted to practise as a lawyer in Portugal and in Brazil.
