About Petra Carreira

Petra Carreira is a managing associate in the dispute resolution practice of PLMJ. With over 12 years’ experience, she specialises in corporate and commercial litigation, banking and finance and private enforcement of competition law. She regularly advises Portuguese and international clients in sectors, including in class and collective actions. Petra graduated from the Faculty of Law of Universidade Católica Portuguesa (Lisbon School) and holds an LL.M. in International Transactions from Centro de Estudios Garrigues (Madrid) - in partnership with Fordham University (New York). She also holds a postgraduate qualification in arbitration from the Faculty of Law of Universidade Nova de Lisboa. She attended the 2nd Postgraduate Course in Law Enforcement, Compliance and Criminal Law and the XVI Postgraduate Course in Competition and Regulation, both at the Law Faculty of the University of Lisbon.
