About Raquel Freitas

Raquel Freitas is a senior counsel in the public law practice at PLMJ and has over 30 years’ experience as a lawyer. She focuses on administrative law, especially environmental law, and public procurement. Raquel advises Portuguese and international clients from various industries, in particular, paper pulp, packaging production, healthcare, the chemical industry and mass catering. She also has extensive experience in environmental issues related to the energy sector. Raquel has completed several postgraduate courses and is a lecturer on public procurement and an “Introduction to Environmental Law” at the Faculty of Law of Universidade Católica Portuguesa (Porto). She was previously with the public law practice of Cuatrecasas.
