About Ricardo Oliveira

Ricardo Oliveira of PLMJ is a partner and head of the EU and competition law practice. He has been practising competition law for 25 years, with a focus on defence in cartel matters, abuse of dominance, competition litigation, merger control, state aid and implementation of antitrust compliance programmes. Ricardo is one of the most experienced competition lawyers in Portugal and has led some of the most important mandates in the competition arena in the last few years. Ricardo has a law degree from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon and an LLM in European law from the College of Europe in Bruges.
