About Gregory E Pessin

Gregory E Pessin is a partner in Wachtell Lipton’s restructuring and finance department. Greg focuses on representing borrowers with respect to all types of financing for mergers and acquisitions and other transformative corporate transactions – including financing for Salesforce’s USD27.7 billion acquisition of Slack, Broadcom’s USD32 billion of committed financing to fund its acquisition of VMWare, and over USD31 billion of permanent financing in connection with AbbVie’s acquisitions of Pharmacyclics and ImmunoGen. He regularly represents parties to high-stakes conflicts involving debt and financing issues (including representing Twitter in its successful litigation against Elon Musk), and advises investors in and purchasers and sellers of distressed entities.
