About Gert-Jan Hendrix

Gert-Jan Hendrix is a managing associate in Linklaters’ litigation, arbitration and investigations (LAI) practice. An expert in collective redress, he has acted on a range of collective redress matters. His expertise in this area led to him being part of the team that advised the Belgian administration on the transposition into Belgian law of the European Representative Actions Directive. In addition, Gert-Jan completed a secondment in the class action department of Allens in Sydney, Australia. Gert-Jan has authored several articles on class actions, including an overview of case law since the entry into force of the Belgian class action regime.
