About Wannes Vandenbussche

Wannes Vandenbussche is an of counsel in Linklaters’ litigation, arbitration and investigations (LAI) practice. He specialises in domestic and cross-border litigation and national and international arbitration. He has significant experience in handling complex collective redress cases, and further areas of expertise include (extra-)contractual liability disputes and attachment law. He is an accredited mediator with the Belgian Mediation Commission. He is regularly called upon to provide expert opinions on complex issues in Belgian, European and international procedure, evidence and torts. Wannes is a professor of civil procedure at Ghent University, with collective redress being one of the focal points of his research and teaching.
