About Dorien Taeymans

Dorien Taeymans is a senior associate in the IT/IP/Data Protection department at Liedekerke. Dorien’s practice focuses on data protection (data audits, GDPR compliance strategies, personal data breach management, whistle-blowing); IT matters (IT contracts, internet/social media presence, e-commerce, domain names, peer-to-peer platforms); intellectual property and unfair market practices (ie, related to advertising, marketing and the organisation of contests). She works for domestic and international clients across a wide variety of sectors, including start-ups, SMEs, large multinationals and non-government organisations in the automotive, logistics, energy, hospitality and (FMCG) retail sectors. Dorien is the secretary of the editorial committee of Tijdschrift Computerrecht, a legal journal covering legal and IT matters in Belgium and the Netherlands.
